Time Team Style Sweater
We love watching the British programme, Time Team. Hubby also adores the jumpers that Professor Mick Aston wears, in particular the sideways one. In fact, he loves that one so much, he wants me to knit one for him.

So, now we run into a couple of problems. #1. I have never knitted a sideways jumper before and therefore don't have a pattern for one. #2 is that my husband is a cuddly chap and has a 60 inch chest and a 65 inch waist, so even finding a pattern to fit him is next to impossible in the first place.

I have looked on Ravely.co, plus done google searches hoping to find a (free) pattern. Sadly I haven't found anything at all. Cardigans, yes, striped, yes, but a striped jumper no, and not one for a large person.

So, I am hoping that people here can help me find a pattern I can use. Just a side to side one, in a size for a large man. I can figure out the stripes easily enough. grin. As my budget is basically non-esistant, a free online pattern would be a huge help.

Cross posted to craftgrrrl and geekcrafts journals (sorry for not putting the link, not sure how to do those active ones).

Source for sideways jumper patterns
The designer Kaffe Fassett, has come up with several marvelous ones. Try Googling his name and/or Rowan Yarns.
